    Roomy sword bag

    Hi,

I've got a sword with a 3.5" diameter tsuba and I'm finding that it's quite a tight fit into it's silk bag, which is about 5" wide when it's flat. Would any of you be aware of any places that sells slightly wider bags? If anyone happens to have any sword bags bigger than what I've got I would appreciate if you could point me to where you purchased it!

    Thanks, Aristya

I have used a kimono or yukata obi to make a koshirae bukuro... well ... not me but a friend who knows how to operate a sewing machine

...because spending hundreds of dollars on something that can cost you your life is worth spending more than thirty minutes of thought on.

Send Tracy Harden on this forum a PM, she custom makes great silk bags and I'm sure she can do something for you.
