FS: Afghanistan Khyber sword with knuckle guard and coat of arms

The Salwar yatagan T-back blade form is associated with the Afridi tribe of the Khyber Pass. This sword has a D-knuckle bow as seen on the cover of “Before Taliban.” It bears the Afghanistan coat of arms and a second mark on the ricasso area on the blade of layered Damascus steel, and is probably older than 1900. It has not been cleaned of the soot and dirt of many years. 29 inches overall length. The leather and wood scabbard has a very nice brass end and chase. $400 USD
It was selected for being distinctly Afghan and for its fine craftsmanship and excellent condition relative to any other specimen, if any other can be found. The buyer may have a three-day inspection and acceptance period. It can be returned for full refund but no renegotiation of price. Shipping is FOB Kansas City, USA at $25 within the contiguous US. Shipping cost must be determined for other destinations. I can accept PayPal.
    More photos available upon request.

God grant me a good sword and no use for it.
