    YOUR EXPERTISE, PLEASE...Swiss Cavalry Pattern 1850

    Here is what we know (thanks to Mark Cloke)...
    Swiss Cavalry Pattern 1850
    Weyersberg/Kirschbaum&Ce/Solingen

    Blade length is 34'.
    On one side of the blade is an unknown marking...6153 83.
    Underneath the basket is another unknown marking...TH 831.

    This is where I need your expertise...what do the markings mean?
