Looking for practice partners in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

If anybody's interested, let me know. If you're from this area then you know how isolated and small our market is. My primary interest is the Japanese sword arts (iaido, kenjutsu, etc), but I'm open to spar with practitioners of any style of swordplay (ie, Longsword or anything)! I have an oak bokken as well as a bamboo shinai for sparring with, and can always get my hands on more.

If anybody's into tameshigiri or backyard cutting, I'd also like to meet up for that. I have a traditional Japanese Katana (shinken, or 'live blade') forged in differentially-hardened folded steel and very cut-worthy.

    Ned,
I highly recommend looking up the "Noble House Kenjutsu" dojo.
    Here is their website:
    http://www.kenjutsu.ca/

From what I have seen they are skillful and knowledgeable.
Training includes kenjutsu with bokuto and fukuro shinai, iaijutsu, jojutsu, 3 types of bojutsu, naginata, yari, tanto, and more.

I can put you into contact with a senior member if you like.

I believe their class is pretty formal so there is not much in they way of sparring (I could be wrong here). But there might be some members who would be interested.
