State acceptence mark I can't find

I have an Italian 1860 Model Dragoon type with a Crown over "GD" mark. Thought this might be Danish but I can't find a listing that matches up sword type and mark. Recently a seller posted a heavy cavalry frenchish pallasch with the same mark. He called it a French weapon, but the Guard has a 7K struck on it ( Kurassier ) and the blade has an 1855 production date and is only 33 inches long.

Anyone already know the answer to this one? I've been foundering for two days trying to find the mark.

Another day of searching got me some old Jean Binck posts to SFI and while the GD still isn't clear to me, I'm pretty certain it's Kingdom of Belgium. The GB is Belgium inspected, and the rampant lion and T is Thouvenin Arms of Liege.
