    Napoleonic era sword maker " b w & co" - any help?

    Guys,
I have a 1796 pattern regimental Light Cavalry Officers sword with makers script of "B W & CO."
Does anyone have any idea who this is?
    Thank you in advance

Dave, is there any chance that there is another letter before the "B"? Looks like there may be room for one in the banner, but it might require a fine magnifying glass to pick it out if the gilt fill is gone.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
Have even tried it with a jewelers loop, absolutely no trace of a previous letter, looks like the scroll begins directly ahead of the B.
Really weird to have no trace of the maker at all.
    Dave
