    Indian, "ram dao". These are usually described as "sacrificial choppers" or similar. I don't know if they have everyday utility uses, or whether they are purely sacrificial knives/axes/swords.

    The eye near the point is typical.

    That's it! Thank you for your help.
    I inherited this from my Grandfather who obtained it during WWI. We are looking to sell the pair.
