    For Sale: Oniforge Ukigumo katana

    Hi all,

I am selling my Oni-forge Ukigumo limited edition katana.

The sword is constructed from folded steel and has silver plated fittings.
Nagasa is 28.5 inches. Tsuka 11 inches.

I have re-wrapped the Tsuka with silk and swapped out the menuki with Japanese alloy menuki, which are rather nice!
I have partially wrapped the Saya with rattan and re-painted that section.
The blade has been re-polished to emphaise the kissaki and folds. I have also used a hazuya fingerstone to polish the hamon in the suguha style. If this is not wanted it can be easily polished off with a polish cream and then re-etched. I can do this for a small fee but personally I quite like the suguha hamon.

The sword has been lightly handled with only having seen a few milk jug bottles while in my ownership. The saya is in good condition but has been been hit against something so has a small dent/mark, which has been painted over.

    My email is: williamswordsales@outlook.com
Please let me know if you want additional photos by PM.
Asking price is 380 or if you wish to Trade I would be partial to a sword from Valiant Armoury.
This price does not include postage, but I am happy for you to collect. I live in postcode SL7 - UK

Hi Will, I hope this sword is sold and that I am not hijacking your thread?
I was wondering if you have a thread / photos showing step by step how you did the rattan on the saya? Also, where did you get the rattan from?
    Regards
    Gwyn.
