    FS: Cut-Down Tachi in Shirasaya

Looking to sell a cut-down tachi in shirasaya. No papers or official information about the sword, but I had it looked at by the noted maker of fittings Randy Black, and he observed that because of the curvature and slender profile, it's likely a very old blade, possibly 14th century, that was cut down to katana-length.

Habaki is silver with the carved-in rain pattern.

This sword has some battle-damage, including small chips from the edge and some areas where some impact scooped out a bit of the steel.

    Blade is 26"

Looking to sell for $500, but I will entertain other offers
