    E.L. Etienne Le'on (Lyon)???

Does anyone have the history on the French assembler Etienne Le'on (Lyon in Thillman's book). I found a history of him somewhere, and have now forgotten where that was ...he died in 1845 I believe, and his widow continued on. His mark is found on numerous Klingenthal bladed swords, and interestingly enough on a few Civil War presentation and presentation, non regulation swords. In the interest of saving time, I am hoping one of you might be able to help me source this quickly.
    Thanks in advance.

    Good evening Simon,
Étienne Léon was a cutler in Paris circa 1836.
Then, the trade mark became "Veuve Léon" (widow Léon) in 1845 after the death of Étienne.
The trade mark was registered october 26, 1861, as : "Armes blanches de Paris".
    Three known addresses : 18, rue Fouarre (1836) ; 17, rue de Calandre (1856) ; 13, rue Culture-Sainte Catherine (1861).
Étienne Léon stamp was : an oval with " E.L. under 3 stars".
    Hope it helps,
    Dan
