    Cypher help please!

    Dear All,

The sword seems an 1897 Infantry NCO sword - I didn't know NCOs ever carried this model. I thought the last one was a 1905 pattern?

I am really quite stumped on the guard cyper, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    All the best,

    Robert

It is AR for King Albert I of Belgium. This is a rare sword!
