    Antique Axes for identification.

    Hi All,

Here are two axes I have managed to acquire that I've been trying to definatively ID.
Similar and clearly the same type, but obviously not a 'pair'.
However, the similarites and clear style clues suggest to me that these are a specific ethnographic type and not simply an atypical pair.
Several theories have been proposed so far (all with merit) so I'm hoping somone will be able to prove one or another origin 100%.

    Many thanks in advance
