    Smile Swords Identification

    Hi,
The Origin of Both the Swords is Rajasthan, India.

    They are Rajput Warrior Swords.

I also have fews Mughal / Rajput swords.

    Thanks

  4. Thumbs up Hi Pradeep

OK, yes, thank you very much, that helped me a lot find some examples, etc.

I could not find any blades like the first one of mine (with elephants, etc.) on. I found some fine embossed blades with animals etc., but not like mine. When I bought the sword I could not make up my mind about whether it might be old or new; based solely on the blade, I think new; based on the hilt, old! Any input / ideas on this?

    Thanks / RSVP

    Thumbs up Nice collection !

    Hi Mark,

    Both are nice tulwars !

The hilt of 2nd tulwar is chiselled and gold ''Kundan" work is done on it.

    Cheers!

    Sandeep

    Hi Mark,

    Thanks for the pics !

To me it looks more hindu ritual tulwar as it has god figures one side and other side animal figures.

    Sandeep

  10. Thanks Sandeep

Is the blade original for the hilt do you think? Or a later replacement? Any idea what age / era?
