Looking for a belt for a Dutch army sabre

I recently aquired a Dutch "Yzerhouwer" M1912 sabre from the pre-WW2 period (1912-1940), also called "wandelsabel" (walking saber). I don't have pictures of mine yet but here is an identical one to give you an idea:

Now I'm looking for a so-called "sabelkoppel" or "sabeldrager", i.e. a belt with attachment chain that was worn under the uniform and could be used to attach the sabre to.

Here is a picture of what I mean:

Does anyone know where I can buy one? Preferably an original but a reproduction is fine too.

    Frank,

The chain hanger seems to be identical to the standard chain hanger for the US model 1902 Army Officer Sword. I see these on ebay all the time and some are marked and some not. You could probably pick up an unmarked one and then have to find the proper belt and leather frog attachment.

Good idea George, I'll use that as my backup plan.

I'm first going to try finding a belt like the ones in the pictures though.

    Bedankt Marc!

Huizen is pretty far for someone like me who has no car, so I hoped to find one online. Nothing on Ebay or Marktplaats so far though.

Do you know of anyone who sells these things online too?

    re

    Frank,

Bel Leon Koekman maar eens, die zal er wel één hebben of anders je de locaties geven van beurzen. Niet zo ver van jou vandaan is ook altijd een beurs ( dorpje boven Arnhem, maar de naam valt ff niet)
