Hello all. (And good to talk to you again John!) Just my humble two cents worth and no axe to grind at all. (I study Phillipine MAs. *S*) A couple of points. The Japanese are actually descended from the Koreans but REALLY don't care for that. That's as per genetic evidence in Scientific American from an issue last year. Meanwhile, the Koreans still REALLY don't care for the Japanese over some things that happened around 50-odd years ago. (I know a Korean lady who had a close relative strung up and skinned alive.) Anyway, from an outsider's point of view, (mine) I don't think these two countries are EVER going to like each other. Besides, the two are inhabited by effectively the same people so discussing who developed what is not really a useful discussion. All the best. Jack.
