Gabe, > > Borrowing from extant martial arts and claming them for yourselves is one thing << Which is *exactly* what is happening in Kumdo. There are no extant texts on Korean "swordsmanship" other than the few mentions in other texts. I could be incorrect -- so if there *is* an extant text of Korean swordsmanship, please let me know. > > ...sniff haughtily at other groups trying to revieve their martial traditions as well<< Before raising and reanimating a "Lazurus," one first needs the corpse. As far as I know, there are no Korean Kumdo "corpses" around. Maybe a picture or two, but not enough to recreate an authentic "Hangumdo." So ... A transition from "Lazurus" to Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein." No "corpse?" No problem that a little "grave robbing" won't solve. But look at the finished product ..... Regards, Guy
