Eric, You have a lot of good points, I'd say. But I don't think it is just about sarcasm. Sarcasm that 'spices up' a response is great fun. Sarcasm that is thrown out there with no attempt to answer a question posed is annoying and rude from my perspective. I mean, shouldn't we be here to talk and discuss? If you get sarcastic blurbs hurled back with no substance then it is tiring and what I consider out of line. If making a joke, be funny. If the vehicle of humor is sarcasm, go for it. But the goal should be to TRY to communicate, don't just throw noise. That's my perspective. Tim
