    Hey Jon,
Nice to see a fellow Vermonter. Well, actually I'm living in China right now, teaching English and learning martial arts. I would love to hear more about what kinds of sword work you do and if you know of other practitioners in the Green Mountains. I won't be living there again any time soon, but may want to teach/learn/exchange there some day.

    Hi Jon,
I'm new to the forums, and while I was cruising through some old posts I saw some photos of your awesome Chinese Sword Collection. I have a chance to possibly purchase what appears to be an antique Dao based on the shape of the blade and hilt. However, it has a D-shaped knuckleguard that flares out near the blade; it almost looks European. I've never seen a Dao with anything like it and it made me a little nervous, so I was just curious if you've ever seen that. Thanks in advance for any advice you might have.

Do you want to switch over to Face book and chat?

Sorry. Meant to get back to you last night, but ended up running out of the office willy nilly at the last minute of hte day. (trying, and ultimately failing, to get somewhere before the end of buisness day.) The Katana and the Suburito came through in perfect condition. Many thanks.

Jon, I,m going to take a last minute look at your link. Something has come up, a bereavement on my wife's side, so we will be away from an internet connection for a week or so. We're going in the relative sticks. Sorry for the delay.

Hi Jonathan - I just wanted to let you know that I received the sword yesterday and it was received without any damage to the box, and of course, the sword. It's beautiful and I will take special care of it until it's passed on to my next of kin.
    Thanks Again - Michael Murphy
