  1. Good Morning Mr Wheeler,
My name is Vito and I have been a member for some time but never view until lately.

I am trying to learn how to post threads, upload, and actually chat with folk who have an interest in antique swords.

    Hope your day is well

    Cheers

Mr. Wheeler, I do not know you but I read many post and replys on SFI and I would like to compliment you on your clear, informative, understandable, polite and personable post. You and Dale make SFI a very interesting and pleasant site.

I will be at Baltimore; table X-26
  4. I would put an ad in the "Antique Classified" section saying that you will the at the show and would invite forumites to drop by. You might want to say that you are intereested in buying whatever rather than saying you will have things for sale.

George, How would I let everyone know that I will be at table X-26 Maryland Arms Collectors in March?

Hello George, In the next couple of days, I will get the Civil War Veterans Sword thread started. Should I introduce it by providing some background of the GAR, UVL, UVU etc? Then again, the SUV website provides that information. I was also thinking (always dangerous) of posting an Ames Model 622 or 623, which are not GAR, but "generic" veterans' swords. I have some photos of GAR and SV member wearing swords.
Would it be proper to show a sword in context with belts and buckles? Advice would be appreciated.

I'm trying to be good and hold off until next March for the Baltimore Antique Arms Show in hopes of running across a Philippine Constabulary.....if this is what they state...tempting.

    hope all is well,

    Bill

    Hi George,

I saw your post on your W. Walke sword. Willoughby Walke was my great grandfather. His life story is interesting. Feel free to call me (301) 367-1585
