    Hurricane Earl; Duck and Cover

Just a heads up and not a call to arms regarding warming this or cooling that.

Updates almost hourly now and although I am a good bit inland here by Woosta, I should probably tuck a few loose things away for a couple of days. Erring on the side of caution while regarding this one, as it has been a spell since a large one caused more trouble than it might have.

    Cheers

Hotspur; The time line suggests that once past, the rest of Labor day weekend is forcast to be nice enough for bbq.

I understand that the Social Security Administration sent their checks out early, in anticipation that mail service would be interrupted. Huzzah!

We are going to be spending Friday night on a 125 ft Schooner in Boston Harbor then setting sail on Saturday morning for Gloucester to participate in the Labor day Schooner race on Sunday

Saturday and Sunday should be great days for sailing.
