In viewing forums everywhere, there is often an option to elect the period of time one might care to view. As the system default view may be as little as one month (or less on some boards), some subforums will appear as completely empty of traffic. However, one can elect to view any length of time, right back to the beginning. This can be modified on each thread index as needed, or via a users control panel options, under settings and options.
