    Pattern 1853 British Cavalry Trooper's Sword

    Produced in 1850s probably during Crimea War. On ricasso crown above "L" above "14" indicating that sword was inspected in Liege, Belgium. However factories in Liege were not producing sword blades. It is likely that blade was produced in Solingen and inspected in Liege on its way to UK. No other markings either on sword or scabbard
