FS: An 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword

This was a good quality sword in its day and it could be improved quite a lot with a little work. The blade has all the etching you’d expect: foliage, crown and George V’s royal cypher (meaning that this sword was most likely owned by a Great War-era officer). The proof disc shows the word PROVED over a fleur-de-lis. Along the spine is the number 5151. The steel scabbard has a speckled patina all over it and is in good working order, with the sword sheathing perfectly.

    Over 18s only, please.

    £165, plus postage.
