Visit to India guidance please...

Hello all!

I hope you will welcome a visitor from the antique military sword forum!

I will be visiting India soon and I would like to ask you experts for ideas. I am interested in seeing original collections of arms tolearn, as well as possibly buying good quality newly made wootz blades.

I will be using the 1857 war as a skeleton for my trip, so I will be in Delhi, Meerut , Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra, Gwalior, and perhaps Jodpore and Shimla. ( I am on my own, too late to get in on a tour, so if anyone here lives in those places and knows a good guide... )


Any guidance for looking and shopping?
