    French ? Crossbow , makers stamp on bow , rooster and stars ?? , model , dating ??

    Hi Guys
    Purchased this crossbow , guy only remembers buying it from wallis & wallis years ago and has no paperwork , makers stamp looks like a running rooster and 3 stars?? might just be my eyes , very simple but pretty piece
    Help in identifying greatly appreciated
