    KHYBER KNIFE

    £200

Typical of the kind of fearsome weaponry that the British soldiers and adventurers encountered during their time exploring Afghanistan and the North West Frontier, this horn-gripped example is in decent condition. The blade is held tightly in the hilt.

    PATTERN-WELDED KHYBER KNIFE

    £400

A rarer example, this bone-handled variant has an interesting, heavy blade. Its steel shows areas of the light and dark rivers that come from pattern-welding, making it more desirable, and the overall construction’s robustness suggests that it is earlier in date than most of the Victorian-era examples commonly seen on the market. A section of English lettering can also be seen engraved into the blade but most of this has been lost.

It comes with its original dark brown leather scabbard.

For more details regarding either of these swords please send me a message.
