WW1 German Sword ?

What are your thoughts on this sword?
I was thinking ww1 period?
34 inch blade.

Your sword seems to be made in the general form of an Austrian Cavalry saber. However, it does not seem to match any of the official forms in the small details. Perhaps something made by Horster for foreign sales? The markings and the blade form are not Austrian that I can tell.

Perhaps this will steer you in the right direction.
