    Post FRENCH AN XIII CUIRASSIER SWORD FOR SALE $2100 Howard Weeks

    1812 Klingenthal sword and scabbard, 37 1/4" blade in very good condition. Leather grip in excellent condition with grip wire a replacement.Stamps on brass guard include "B" with star on top, number"37" (rack number ?) and serial number "313) on both guard and scabbard. Blade is very good with 1 slight nick 7" from point. Poincons include K,B,L which I believe stand for Krantz, Bick and Lobstein. Letters are slightly worn but readable. Top of sword blade reads various french words and Klingenthal November 1812. The 1816 style scabbard in very good condition with no dents or pitting, the top carry ring band is stamped with "313" matching the brass guard. Brown or blue finish missing over years from handling or cleaning. Complete in very good condition.
