    Can someone identify this Spadroon?

The bottom half of the blade is kept completely blunt, the upper half might have been sharpened or was atleast supposed to be sharpened.

    Measurements:

    Full length: 100cm / 39"

    Blade length: 85cm / 33"

This is what they label "Continental" when not sure of which European country it belongs to. Very similar to British Lifeguards sword with its extended pommel.
The guard shells and blade etching do not appear to me as British. A fine looking sword most likely a European Lifeguard regiment.

It looks like a Prussian officer's dress degen without the grip's wire wrap. There were slight differences in the hilt pieces by the manufacturers.

Prussian Mod 1819 Infantry Officers' Degen...not a court sword. Non-folding inner guard, so made before 1883..
