Rapier balance ant other

Hi all!
I got this rapier atributed later 19th. Im not specialist and dont known how balance good for rapier, but in my mind on my rapier is good? Blade is enough sharp and have some wear of break. Posible is this rapier was use for training, not for decoration?

All lenght 112cm
blade lenght up to guard 91cm
blade lengtht up to grip 100cm
weight 900g

Rather than just showing it balanced on your finger, could you tell us how far the balance point is from the guard? Also, the weight of the sword would help. To me it looks like a nice sword, but more information is needed to have a better idea of what you have.

Your English is fine and you did not misunderstand my comment. Thank you for the additional information. To me it seems like a sword intended for use, whether for training or actual fighting rather than just for decoration. But others more knowledgeable than me may reply with a different opinion.

Your sword seems to be well-balanced and has an excellent weight for real rapier swordplay. However, it would be too dangerous to train with it: it has a real point and quite an edge, at least from the pictures. A trainer would have no point to tell of, and blunt edges.

However, I agree on the description, it looks like a very good repro from mid- to late 19th century of a Pappenheimer rapier (well, forgetting that absurd hole in the ricasso!). Nice sword, anyway.
