The sword looks like it has some age to it though the wolf mark appears spurious being cut in by a chisel one segment at a time. The Samuel Harvey wolf mark has flowing lines.
Looks like Spanish manufacture to me.
I would say North Italian, around 1600
Hi,
This may be of some help. You will of course know that during the 19thC many good and convincing weapons were made imitating earlier pieces although I am in no position to advance an opinion either way.

Norman.

Thanks everyone I thought it may be a Victorian copy but on examination it looks much older. I was told once European mid to late 17th century ? To me it appears much like a cutlass as its simple and looks relatively cheaper to make. A side arm for infantry?
