So...are these good, or what???
A nice set!
Simon these swords are not what you need, I have an address you can forward them to and I will take care of them!
The third from the top has a very nice hilt, and blade of course. All are 1st class.
Simon did they fall off the back of a truck? I'm sure it's not good to reveal your sources. A poor widow?
Any one of these swords could be the centre of someones collection. Local auctions, especially ones not online can be gold mines.
Sorry, I was just kind of speechless when you posted therm. Will you be posting the individually for us? Is the plainer (top/bottom) crested eagle spadroon marked to A.W.Spies?
Curious minds and all that.
Cheers

Spectacular. Great photos.
I am left breathless....all I can say is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! swords. Nice collection. Those blue-n-gilt blades are fantastic!

This is an interesting Osborne...I know we think of the weeping eagle...this is Osborn & Gunby...Does anyone have a rough date?
Thanks!
Simon
This sabre is not pictured in the main group, but is very interesting...It is a bird head by New York assemblers Richards and Upson (a lot of collectors mistakenly interpret it as "Richard Upson"). Any thoughts as to year and anything else appreciated.
Thanks!
Simon
