    Mortuary Sabre sword

    Hi guys,

Hope you are all stellar and virus free....I have a sword that is well out of my wheelhouse and need assistance with markings....to be precise, the mark which appears on both sides of the blade.

All help well appreciated as always.

    Best,
    Simon

Thanks again, Will. So....looking at the sword...it is really nice... the guard, being Mortuary, is perhaps older than the blade so maybe re-hilted by John Allen in the 18th century? What think you? Thanks!
