Feel free to upload, invite, post, whatever as long as it's good content!
I registered it before some backyard sam-your-eye did it and flooded with crappy SLOs and flashy awesome self invented arts.
Cheers!

ok, guys, am taking a chance here by 'sticky-ing' this thread. If the intent is to gather and show good iai and related stuff, that would be a service to us all. I would ask that people provide comments on the videos and styles. We'll see how it works out.

I think that's a great idea guys...a nice contrast to some of the junk that's on there when you do a search on Iaido.
- What really scares the heck out of me is that stupid people are out-breeding the smart ones.
Thank you Dave!
So far there are 23 members and 29 videos already.
Since this is not SFI's iaido forum but JSA, I think it's appropiate to mention the YouTube group for kendo as well! http://www.youtube.com/group/kendo
But, ahem, they only have 6 videos and 11 members :P
Will there be a "kenjutsu" group handled by budoka before some watermelon slayer on rollerskates takes it?
Cheers!
yet another utube video

I love this video! Very nicely done, with some interesting forms.
This looks like a great resource, but unfortunately the links "are offline due to a crappy hosting company".I'd be very interested to see what's in it when they're back online.

Thanks J-M for the links. I didnt know the video from nakayama hakudo. Iwill eatch it a couple of times and try to improve my iai. Does anybody know if there are videos about the kumitachi from muso shinden out there?
Hi there
Is this a dead thread now? Link didn't work so I assume it is?
no reason for the thread to be dead, altho the linked youtube group seems to be gone. Feel free to link to examples of good iai.

Sorry, yes I meant the youtube group rather than the link! Apologies.
Not sure I should be assessing if Iai examples are good or bad though, so as is my normal M.O I shall shuffle quietly to the back of the class!!
I love the iaido! Great weapon! anybody got one?
