    I found a site for out of print books. Ken Trotman in the UK has the 1000 Marks book in paperback for 20 GBP. shortly after the post, the site popped up. thanks Eric for the response.
    PS is anyone out there still actively collecting Scottish\English Basket hilt swords? seems like the interest at the forum is dead...Just askin'
