    Lightbulb FYI--attachments not working

Since the server migration this past weekend the attachment system is not working. If you want to post pics you must do so by using an image hosting site like photobucket (which is free, BTW) and embedding the photos into your post using image tags .

Woe is that I can't find the frame of Alfred E from MAD #80's Mutiny On The Bouncy, so I can post a sword like Neuman's

On a more serial note, the flag was raised and the word is that it is one of the challenges of the move. As they were actually allocated a bit differently during the 2006 upgrade, they may be looking for a simple formula or solution to re-address them. There are literally hundreds of thousands of them and were counted in total post count by the latest software. That number of total "posts" went over a million last year.

    Cheers

It's a sad commentary that you can quote the issue and article. (I'll have to look it up on my cd collection of Mad Magazine)

Honestly, I couldn't before looking about on the web a bit. IIRC, the frame of him standing at the stern of the ship's boat shows him wearing a sword. I didn't want to derail that thread with a simple "What, Me Worry?" mug shot.

<poke>Forgive me Jonathan but tis what came to mind with the thread header of a sword like Neumann's</poke> and what I would have attached as Neuman's sword.

    Cheers

Hotspur; maybe it was only just amusing as transient thought

Thanks for the wayback. A bit different from what my memory was but 45 odd years will do that. MAD and Stan Freberg were a large part of my exposure to comedy as a child.

    Cheers
